Hello everyone, I am the head of our company's foreign trade department. This article is to share with you the first cooperation case that impressed me most since we transformed our foreign trade business - the application project of crawler plates on crawler cranes.
This customer is from the Middle East and is a company engaged in engineering equipment leasing and construction. Their business covers power stations, oil fields and municipal engineering, and the equipment they use is mainly crawler cranes. They initially contacted us because the original crawler plates of one of their cranes were severely worn and urgently needed to be replaced.
The customer found us on the Internet. He was willing to give us a chance to sample the product through the product pictures, factory photos and technical information we sent.
In the communication with the customer, I learned that they were using an old model of crawler crane, and it was difficult to find a suitable crawler plate directly on the market. I immediately organized the technicians to check the drawings and parameters provided by the customer and confirmed that a product that fully matches the original structure and is even more durable can be customized.
We chose high-strength alloy steel (42CrMo) and adopted quenching heat treatment and thickened reinforcement rib design, which greatly improved the wear resistance and bearing capacity without adding too much weight.
Customer trial feedback：
After the sample was delivered, the customer conducted two weeks of on-site testing, mainly in sandy and gravelly terrain and high-temperature working environments. The test results exceeded their expectations: the track shoes were very slightly worn, the stability was very good, and there was almost no slippage. So the customer decided to place an order for a full set of replacements at one time. After the order was successfully shipped, the customer asked us for other supporting parts, including track pins, supporting wheels and other accessories.
This is a key node for us to transform domestic trade experience into foreign trade orders, and it also makes us realize that as long as the products are reliable and the services are professional, customers will still be willing to cooperate.
